Sable

Question: If you were to ask some of the hottest chefs where they go to eat when they go to Chicago, right now many would answer Sable. What I'm about to show you are the photos we took of our adventure there, the night before we went to Alinea. (sorry there aren't more)

 Double fried buttermilk chicken and waffles with a bourbon maple syrup. Wow. just wow.

Shrimp and grits, with...you guessed it, bacon. Amazing.


Now as memory serves, we also had Lamb sliders (that were amazing) and lobster rolls (neither pictured), I would say if you can swing a hundred clams for dinner, you could do much much worse. This was exceptionally tasty.

Correction (Per Julie):
'you say we also had lamb sliders.  We did not.  They were pork belly BLTs and they were ridic'
